With the end of this project rapidly approaching, it looks like it's time to get into the meat of it and start actually putting everything together. What this means for future posts is that we're pretty much done with research at this point, all that remains is turning all the pieces into a bigger product. With that in mind, all posts from here on out will be updates on the actual presentation, whether that be screenshots of slides, video of me practicing, or whatever else comes up.
For the presentation, we'll be using Google Slides as our platform.
As you can see, I wanted to go with a subtle look, as to not distract the audience too much. On Google Slides I selected the theme called "Modern" and made a small change by altering the background color from white to a soft violet. Hopefully the color is as visually appealing to my audience as it is to me. The text is rather plain, but again, the slides themselves are not meant to be the focal point of the presentation.
Next week should take us much deeper into this presentation, but I think this is enough to start things off. At the very least I hope to have a general layout for each slide, even if they aren't all put together yet. Gotta remember to keep time in mind though.
